My frist husband had HD. passed in his 50's. We had one Son from the marriage. So far no signs. My son is now 35 . His dad started having them at around 40. we believe. not sure we divorced before any signs of it. found out by my son wanting to find his Father and meet him for the frist time. it was to late. He learn of the HD his dad had by an e-mail as he was hoping to meet him. it was to late. He passed on. We now just wait and hope he does not start to show any signs. So far he is okay in his MRI. We have done no blood work at this time .. Thanks so much for this site. gby, MemL

Our family has an extensive history of HD. My husband is at endstage. If there is any awareness to help anyone regarding this I would like to be of assistance, whether it may be to ask or answer anyones needs, please let me know. It has been a very long and devestating journey. Love, prayer, compassion and dignity of life and respect is so very important; a cure is our next miracle. God Bless You.

I just wanted to let everyone know my family is affected by this disease. My husband has it, his older brother, and his sister. It is several generations old. His sister is 43 and has been in a nursing home for 4 yrs. (She has it real bad). His brother is 38 and has had it for about 8 yrs. My husband is 37 and has had it for 6 yrs. They all are different and wonderful in their own way. It's a hard disease to deal with, but we love them more everyday. God Bless

My father's family has HD and we recently lost both his younger brothers (2003, 2007) to this horrible disease. as far as we know our father doesn't have it. He also lost his mother to it ( and probably other family members before it was known what it was). My sister and I would like to start a group and maybe have a walk or something to remember these people by and to help make people aware og this disease. If anyone has any suggestions please contact me! Thanks for the support.
