Brecknell, Dolman and Rogers

Hi,

I found your excellent website while searching for information on Brecknell, Dolman and Rogers, and the Golden Valley Paper Mill at Swineford/Bitton. I'm looking for anyone who worked there in the 1940s/surviving records of the companies at that time.

I just wondered if you might have any ideas as to who I could approach - any other local historians or enthusiasts?

The reason for my inquiries are that I'm helping someone in his attempts to find his father, who is thought to have worked at Brecknell, D and R, when it, or possibly another company in the area, was producing munitions in WWII.

I'd be very grateful for any advice,
