Anyone remember Eddie King who was the lead of a group and played at the old Grand Spa in the late 60s. He lived in Long Ashton. When his group was beginning he practised at the Long Ashton Village Hall.

I was the keyboard player in Eddies band in 1973 when the Spa closed and was just left to rot as I found out a few years later when playing in the restaurant and found the pass door open. Eddie was also the part owner of a Miles Messenger aircraft which was repainted to represent General Montgomery's personal transport otherwise it was actually registered G-AIEK his own initials! I flew in it once in an air display a great experience.I haven't seen Eddie since those days but are still involved in music.
