Picture of John Latimer

John Latimer was my 3x great uncle. I would be grateful to know where the picture that is on flickr (http://flickr.com/photos/20654194@N07/2080928720 ) comes from.

I would also be interested if there is any record of John Latimer providing any biographical details about himself or his family.
I am also intrigued in if anyone knows what happened to the young child 'John Latimer Welch' who was living with him in 1871, following the death of his presumed father Robert Welch, who accompanied John Latimer to Bristol from the north east. R Welch was living with Latimer, Latimer's sister and mother in the 1861 census but died in 1867 and his obituary in the Western Daily Press was reprinted in the Gentleman's Magazine of August 1867 (p254)(http://books.google.com/books?id=7fIIAAAAIAAJ&pg=RA1-PA643&dq=gentleman%27s+magazine+1867&lr=#PPA254,M1). However I can find neither death, nor marriage for John Latimer Welch though his birth is registered .

As you can tell pretty much any biographical information about John or his mother will be of interest.
