Bristol Football Clubs 1907/8

I have a photograph of a Bristol football club team together with their medals and trophy and a football with the date 1907/8.
My grandfather Henry(Harry) Hendy was amongst this team and was rumoured to have played for Bristol Rovers, but there was no reference to him in their archives.
I have a suspicion that this might be of Hanham Athletic, but have not found any concrete evidence.
If there are any interested football buffs out there that might enlighten me I'd be much obliged.
