Harford Square

What a fantastic site!, Wondered if anyone can help me? I've got a birth certificate for my Gt. Grandmother and it says she was born at 6 Harford Square, Bedminster in 1862. I can't find this anywhere, although in 1878 an old map shows that Harford Bridge was the name for the single bridge at the end of Bedminster Parade to Redcliffe Hill. Was Harford Square near here? Any help most welcome! Lisa.

Re: Harford Square

Harford's bridge is the former name of the modern Bedminster bridge. There was a Charles Harford who owned Redcliffe Caves in 1868.
1883 Nov 21: New Bedminster Bridge opened. Harford Square could have been on the Redcliffe side of the bridge. There is no mention of the square on a 1938 Bristol street map.

Re: Harford Square

Found a Harford Street but not in Bedminster in Redcliffe just over the bridge next to modern day Langton Street see link below for map.
