Hi Paul

Sorry for the new post wasn't sure how to reply back but thank you so much for your reply. You've have just given me more information than I have managed to find in the last 4 weeks! Is there any chance that I could take a copy of the picture at all either by email or post? If you come across anymore information or know where you think I might be able to get anymore info/pics and you could let me know I would be really grateful.

Thanks again for your reply it all helps to piece together the jigsaw and any pics really help.

Mike

The Old Manor House in Keynsham is said to be one of the oldest inhabited houses in England. It was thought to be originally built in an 'E' shape construction. The front was of early seventeenth century, and although the earliest recorded date is 1616, many ancient features are still intact and trace back to a much earlier time. Ancient features still apparent are: ancient ceiling beams, a Norman arch and Jacobean panelling. Legend has it that at one time it was used as a Priory. Many historical facts were lost due to the deeds being destroyed by fire. In 1925 the house was occupied by a Mr. Philip Bush, Solicitor and later by a Mr. Cox, Solicitor.
The Old Manor House, Bristol Road, in latter years become a Hotel and licenced Restaurant run by Mrs. J. Rozario. I have an old pen and ink drawing of the house date not known.
