Pountney & Co Ltd., Dinner Service

Hi,

I have a dinner service, with approx 40 plates, 20 large and 20 medium, 2 Large Tureens, 2 small tureens, with lids,
The design appears to be called "Tennyson"
The underside information is as follows.
"Modern Bristol Burlingham shape.
Registered No. 817499 in ENGLAND
Pountney & Co Ltd.,
Made in Great Britain

Does anyone have any information on this item?

Hi - My fiance and I just bought a service just like this from an auction in Bristol while we were visiting my mother, who lives near Bath. It is now at home with us in Seoul, South Korea! We have almsot exactly the same pieces as you and the same registration number. Did you manage to find out anything else about this China.
