Alyburton Place - Bedminster

Hi

I am trying to help a friend trace her ancestors. She has got as far back as a Robert Fish (born 1860) in Alyburton Place, Bedminster. There is no trace of this road existing today, so I am wondering whether it was perhaps a victim of the Blitz, or whether it was simply redeveloped and renamed ?
If anyone has any information, I would be grateful.

Tony

Re: Alyburton Place - Bedminster

I am looking for the same location! We should get together - perhaps try the records office? I might be going there on Thursday 11th.

Re: Alyburton Place - Bedminster

at last I know that aylburton place is not a figment of my imagination. I have just found a reference to it on the bristol archives website: Deeds relating to William Williams and the Lunell family. Are any of the surrounding st. names familiar to you?
