Bob Gilvear bare knuckle fighter

Hi

Hope someone can help.

I was told by my father that a relation, Bob Gilvear used to fight in Castle St Bristol.

The Evening Post did an article on this in the mid-nineties or a little earlier.

Line drawings of Bob, in fighting stance, hung in the Sportsmans Arms Bedminster until refurbishment in late eighties. I arrived two days after they had been thrown in a skip!

Any info welcome please.
