Did they say how long in would be until we can start seeing some compensation? How will they decide how much to pay? Where can I research this for myself, or can I?
It now goes to a bankruptcy judge who will make all decisions.
I understand it could take up to 90 days for you to get your money. The reorganization will probably take a lot longer.
I also understand that ex employees are #2 in line for any money there may be. The bankers are always in the number 1 position. So you may only get a % of what you are due. But those poor Wall Street bankers will get theirs first. They so need it. I understand some of them are struggling on just 2 or 3 hundred thousand a year right now.
It’s all different in each state so I can’t say what the rules are. And I’m just a layman who has been through it 3 times. See the stinky economy of 1988 to 1994.
I don’t believe there is anything you can do as an individual. Maybe write to the judge pleading your case for a speedy resolution. Be polite don’t call the company names.
So who is going to go back if offered?
