Marshall made it to the summit of Black Mountain yesterday and indicates the trail is in fair shape with almost 3' of snow at the summit! Today he will groom S49D to the Gull Bay beach on Lake George. If you see him, thank him for his tireless work on our trail system!
Public parking to access our trail network is available in Fort Ann on Shelving Rock Rd., in Dresden at the Black Mt. trailhead on Pike Brook Rd. and in Putnam at the Putnam Fire House (about 1 mile north of Gull Bay Rd on Rt. 22). If using the Firehouse parking lot, no parking is allowed in front of the overhead doors - you will be towed.
