Piro Indians

I am interested to talking to Jose Acosta. My name is David Portillo and I am one of the extinct Piro Indians Me and my family and ancestors live in Las Cruces and my ancestors help build the catherdrial in Juarez.

I am a Antropologist who has studies the Piro Pueblos from northern NM to Las Cruces. I would like to find any Piro's who may still live in the Juarez Area.

Thanks

David Portillo

Re: Piro Indians

I can say that piro indains exist in socorro tx and those indains dont care about money or politics. They plant corn and are in harmony with mother nature. Some people call them want to be and some people call them crazy but i know better than that.
