Car/Motorcycle Insurance to Visit Mexico

I'm planning to make a vacation trip into the interior of Mexico. I pass throught the following on my trip Odessa, then Marfa, then Presido all in Texas. Then Ojinaga, and onto Chihuahua City. I will need Liability Insurance for my Motorcycle (actually a Suzuki Burgman 400 Scooter), or maybe my Automobile. My current liability insurance policy only covers me for 25 miles into Mexico.

I'm only going to be in Mexico for a few days. I'd like to Buy the insurance in person in one of the towns listed above, basically right before I need it, because I'm afraid I might have to postpone this trip at the last minute.

I tried calling Todd Beckett at(915) 229-4621 -- as he is listed under the Insurance link, but the phone was disconnected.

Can you give me a recommendation as to where I might buy the required Liability insurance for my trip into Mexico?

Re: Car/Motorcycle Insurance to Visit Mexico

Sorry. I found that the area code changed from 915 to 432. I was able to then call Mr. Beckett.

I think this will take care of my Insurance needs. But if you still wish to share your advice -- please do. Best Wishes, Robert

Try buying Mexico insurance online. I've done it several times and I have been satisfied with my experiences.

Thank you Amigo.
I've was able to buy insurance, on the USA side of the border in Presidio.

When I went across into Mexico, into Ojinaga there appeared to be numerous insurance companies in easy eyesight of the border crossing.

I had a very nice time, and enjoyed this trip. I did at one time, go a long long way without seeing any filing stations. Best not get toooo low on gasoline.
Best Wishes, Robert
