Can anyone tell me anything about the derelict house, near Drinadaly Bridge at Newhaggard, almost opposite Boyne Lodge, who lived there? (Think it may have been an ancestor?) Also who Owned Castle Restaurant, now Chip shop in Castle Street? Any photos or info on what was on site of old Fire Station, Castle Street Trim, and finally - is there a place, estate etc called Mount Steward in Trim area. This is all to do with Family History - many thanks, Sheila.

I don't know if I have spoken to you b/4.

My greats, John KELLY & Kate BANNON, were married in St Pat's, Trim, July 1871..Bridget SHANLY was a witness along with Patrick BOYLE...

Kate was b abt 1854, place unkn.

I have also just found that Kate had 3 siblings...may be more...but 3 baptisms in Trim:

Anne BANNON b 4 June 1856..sp: John MURPHY & Julia CONNELL

Lawrence BANNON born 26 Aug 1861..sp: Thomas GAUGHAN & Rose NEWMAN

Maria (Mary?)BANNON born 17 Aug 1862..Sp; Thomas CLARKE & Mary NEWMAN

I also have just found that Kate's mother's maiden name was Mary GOREY.

possible parents of Mary GOREY...Andrew & Mary FITZSIMMONS..but haven't verified yet...

Kate's dad was Michael BANNON..
Kate's 1st born, Michael b Apr 1872...sponsors: Thomas COMMONS & Mary MARTIN..

The KELLY's came to Jersey City, NJ in 1873

Also I had a person in the KELLY plot in Jersey City, NJ who I couldn't identify, but now that I have her siblings, it is possible it was her sister Annie..

Annie CROZIER..22yrs..buried 19 Mar 1877...born Ire...died with baby in childbirth..son Alexander lived only minutes..Husband Alexander CROZIER...the dates fit...

I have also learned that my great gma, Kate BANNON KELLY married again in 1907, after the death of John KELLY in 1905. Her second husband was Christopher MC LAUGHLIN
