pOUNTNEY & cO lTD

i have a platter that was given to me by my late great grandmother. It is cream in colour with yellowish flowers, brown leaves on a green backgound. the drawings are made up of joined lines. The inscription on the back says Bristol Est. 1683 pOUNTNEY &cO lTD eNGLAND "aMBERONE". could you please tell me if this is a genuine antique and when was it made or any history behind it. your help would be greatly appreciated as I get a lot of questions about it from family and friends!!
