pen and ink sketches

[o:)]Hi. In a local auction in South Wales, I acquired two very interesting original pen and ink drawings of famous Bristol landmarks as part of a lot. They are by Roy Rowe. One is of 'South St Mary Le Port Street' (also showing the church) and the other is 'Church of St John The Baptist, Bristol', the latter dated 1943.
Can anyone shed any light on the artist? Would they be of any interest to anyone in a historical sense?
