Hi everyone
Im researching my family history and just wondered if anyone remebers anyone by the name Grindell, Nott, price or weston from the st george area of bristol. If you do please let me know...

Hi Clare...I hope you are the same Clare that I sent photographs to of St George Cem/The Grindell Family

I have found some more names, some still living.

This Grindell family lived in Pile Marsh Road, Redfield (one street away from St George Cem) owned the six cottages and kept Horses...they were Horse dealers not Hauliers

A Mrs Empson...living in Netham Road at one time was a daughter of the Grindell family, I don't know which one.
She had three children... Sidney, Vincent, I don't know the daughters name.

Vincent still lives up the road in St George near the Fountain, so that is Church Road area. He divorced his first wife Olwyn and re-married.

Got all this from the local shop when they realised that I lived in Grindell road....they grew up with them.
