Bristol Tramways

My Great Grandfather was a tram driver. from certificates I have, I know he was from 1890 - 1899, probably longer. His name was James Flew.
Any idea if old payroll records are available please

If your Great Grandfather was a tram driver for The Bristol Tramway's Company. ( later Bristol Omnibus )
I would have thought records would have been kept ?.
If I find any information on this subject I will be in touch.
