Wowee! We did get mentioned in the review, didn't we? :-) And of COURSE Alvin cared about the Gibson accolade!! Alvin's no dummy-- he knows he's good. He is also the soul of modesty and the ability to keep a balanced perspective on himself, however. And would we love him any other way?? :-) Even so, I do get a kick out of Alvin not understanding how anyone could put him above B.B., yet apparently not including Clapton or Berry in the remark! Tee hee. Love ya, Alv! ;-)

Ya know Dale ! I think Alvin does give a diddy. He has contributed so much to our musical lives ,and we have recognized his contributions,I am blessed to be able to appriciate them .I watched something a few days ago on TV with BB King,and he barely played guitar between lyrics, I was surprised at the preformance.
