Read somewhere today, the Beatles finished recording their Magical Mystery Tour Album on August 17!

Oh, OK, sorry UK and East Coast buddies, it's still Aug 17 on the West Coast!

I heard on the radio today, that John, Paul, George and Ringo had their first gig exactly 50 years ago after they had fired Pete Best on drums. The three (John, Paul, George) - so the saying - did not have the guts to tell the bad news to Best and left that job to their manager.
