Hooraaay, Alvin!! Still my fave piece of rock music of all-time!! Oh, to be 17 and carefree again. But hey, even though I'm 60 and have been through the mill and around the block a few times, it's STILL good to be alive, counting my blessings and looking forward to the new album!! :-)

Oh, OK, sorry UK and East Coast buddies, it's still Aug 17 on the West Coast!

I heard on the radio today, that John, Paul, George and Ringo had their first gig exactly 50 years ago after they had fired Pete Best on drums. The three (John, Paul, George) - so the saying - did not have the guts to tell the bad news to Best and left that job to their manager.

Will do Pieter, just a day late (lotsa work this week!) Love, love, love this song and will play it nice and loud!
