Nope, not Lightning Hopkins. Talkin' 'bout Jamaica's Usain Bolt, of course, the fastest human of all time. (Recorded time, that is, natch...who knows what our distant ancestors may have achieved when kept on their toes by an assortment of fearsome wild & wooly ancient critters in the course of their daily grind!) Not hard to figure how this guy got his electric nickname, huh. Yaaay for him winning another gold yesterday in the 100M dash and keeping his crown! Yaaay for his countryman Yohan Blake, who took silver, and the US' Justin Gatlin, who won the bronze! I just LOVE to see a champion run fast. For me it's the ultimate sport-- the ultimate arena for mind over matter. It's a kind of magic spell. It's just you, your heart, your lungs, your legs, your muscles, your adrenalin, your will to win, and the finish line.
