I'm for dancing at a fun club in London!! Or even Nottingham. With the bus driver along too, of course! ;-)
Hey, Amigos -- give me and Reg a break, will ya?
For the record, I'm all talk and no action. That's my story and I am sticking to it.
Aw, now, Robin, mi muchachita...we haven't really been all that hard on yez. After that wee interlude last night, you must admit, you and Reg deserve a bit of teasing. Actually, you may never live it down! Heh heh heh. Just kidding, Robin. ;-) Moving right along... Are you for a London club, or a Nottingham one? Unless the hystery tour is about to get underway any moment now, ahem, ahem? :-)
Hey Laurie, You all are very sweet actually.
And yes, even I think I doth protest too much.
As for clubbing, I am down for anything. Just don't let them forget to bring me back to the bus when it is time to go. Since I don't drink, you will probably find me in a dark corner trying to seduce a handsome stranger.
Hi Robin and Laurie! I've been out of town on a Rocky Mountain High hiking through wilderness and seas of wildflowers
Robin you're such a good sport and you guys are so fun-- but I think the bus got moving before we could go dancing in London
Hi Lynn, good to have you back with us. Hiking in the mountains is a blast. I used to go backpacking in Desolation Wilderness, near Lake Tahoe, every year and I loved it.
We can dance on the bus! I am in the mood for some slow-dancing to Alvin's "Lost in Love". (hint hint to the gentlemen)
RE: your comment that blondes do have more fun
-- now that my hair is mostly white, and I consider myself almost a platinum blond, I have to admit that I am having more fun than ever.
Hi, Lynn! :-) Hiking through seas of wildflowers sounds like heaven to me! I love wilderness, and I adore walking and hiking. I co-own some land in the country, including my mom's family farm, fields, and timberland with deer. I'm happiest among lots of trees or in wide open spaces. I've often thought that if I could lie down out in a cornfield when I die, looking up into the vastness of heaven with the big blue sky all around and over me, I know I wouldn't be afraid to let go.

I didn't know you had white hair, Robin! Sounds lovely, but I've been thinking of you as a brunette! I keep forgetting we're 60! ;-) My hair has a little bit of silver in with the blonde, but not much yet, to the annoyance of some of my friends, ha... I almost wish it would hurry up a bit more, just for a new look! My dad didn't get much grey till he was in his '70s, though, and my mom's hair went naturally from childhood blonde to adult brunette to older adult silver in her lifetime. Hmmm...not sure why Reg didn't have one of you (in the storyline) ask ME if blondes have more fun, since I AM blonde and was sitting right there with the rest of you Ami chicks on the bus! Huh. I suppose Reg is STILL stubbornly casting me as a black-haired Stevie Nicks wannabe?! Aagh! Say, whatta I gotta do to look like myself around dis jernt?? ;-)

Hi Laurie, yes, I have the most beautiful white/silver streaks framing my face. My natural color is medium brown that turned golden red in the sunlight when I was younger. I absolutely love my hair. It is thick and full of body, and it does anything I want. I try not to be vain about it, but it is glorious.
Reg has me as a dark-haired Hawaiian in a hula skirt, but if I wanted to get technical I could request that he put me in a belly dancing skirt with a bejewelled bra top, preferably turquoise.
I am just having tons of fun on this trip and I enjoy it for what it is. Hey, some of you had me and and Reg hooked up in a room and did I complain about the implication that I am promiscuous?
Weeell, now, Robin, you did complain a wee bit, urging us to give you and Reg a break, but we were only teasing because you two gave us something to tease about, after all. ;-) Hey, I'm sure there's TONS of stuff I could get razzed about around here, for sure. Heh heh. Yeah, you're right, Reg had you as a dark-haired Hawaiian in a hula skirt... but only because you'd been describing yourself as brunette, and writing about Hawaii, and he apparently missed or forgot you're a Californian. You set him straight. At least he wasn't describing you as glowering, green-faced, etc., which I felt was unnecessarily diggy, and hit me at a bad time when I'd been hoping to have fun with the storyline. It wasn't fun for me in the least at the outset, and I ain't gonna pretend it was. I survived. I've got a running complaint going, partly for drollness' sake at this point, about my mischaracterized appearance, to razz Reg some in return. But by now it's mostly a mock-squawk, because ultimately what he thinks of my hair color or apparel or laughing habits or whatever on a cyber bus tour, however fun it is in many respects, is so far from earth-shaking, it's workin' up a wiggle on Mars. But, oops, that's not far away enough. Let's make that Bikini Bimbo Planet! Right, Alvin? ;-)
LOL -- I wasn't complaining. I was trying to protect Reg's reputation.
Oh sure, sure... :-)
Laurie:) That sounds wonderfull!! Trees, wide-open spaces, deer, nature, a sense of freedom
I love that feeling of really listening and tuning in-- The Other Way to Listen-- one of my favorite books by Bryd Baylor
Hi Robin, thanks
The Lake Tahoe area is gorgeous! I have great memories of backpacking but now I want to hike and come back to a nice restaurant
Yeah, we could get some dancing going on the bus! How about it Laurie, Toni, Sue and Jane? Since we're traveling through time the dancing might look like this! (I tried to embed the vid but don't know why it didn't work)

Oh, Lynn, I am laughing hard my throat hurts!
I have to say, though, he has his latin/cuban motion down.
