Thanks for joining in the conversation!
Glad you liked it, Robin!
Noticed the sound quality was poor, so uploaded another version with much better sound (in .avi format) - maybe this one will work better in phone, Laura? In any event, this one has much better sound:
George Formby's uke sure sounds good. Great job Borje!
Jeg elsker det Börje!
Real fun listening to that, Borje. Thanks so much, you crazy Swedish person!
No need to frighten the wits out of us with the prolonged shot of George Formby though.
Thankyou Borje. Like BS - I love it, too.
That was classic - Drive On!!!!
Thank you fellows - glad you like it! You are all part of the inspiration, so even if Reg is our wonderful tour leader and we owe it all to him (and Alvin, and Evi, and Toni..), this is your tune too.
Alan, a R&R video without George Formby is not worth making, IMHO. After all, he was sort of the Alvin Lee of his time, wasn't he? I mean, in "Help me" Alvin sang, "I may have to wash, I may have to sew, I may have to cook..", etc. And George, of course, sang "When I'm cleaning windows" ..
PS, Toni - the luxuary coach of latest model couldn't handle the overload and collapsed right after start, so we had to hunt down a more robust old bus instead. At least this one will take us all to wherever Reg is leading us..
Well done Borje, loving the Nottingham tribute. LOVE the kitten at the end. Eager now to see where this tour takes us.
Awesome Borje! Love it! What a blast
Hmmm, still not linking properly via the board, B, I'm afraid... though this phone does have the capacity for video and sound. If you get a chance, would you mind sending me your creation via e-mail? That would be wonderful! My computer has been needing a total overhaul, which I've had no inclination whatsoever to mess with lately...wanna get a new laptop, but have been procrastinating about that too. Ah, the lazy days of summer! :-) Well, not really so lazy, just caught up in non-computer-oriented matters. Except-- I've got to work on a book soonish! Yes! :-)

In any event, this one has much better sound:Ok Laura, you've got mail. I guess it can be found if one go to youtube and search for "Magical Hystery Tour" too, but the file is not so big, so no problem mailing it. Good luck on the book job!
Tack saa mycket, B! Det var trevligt. I'll look in my e-mail...didn't even think of a youtube file, but I'll check that too. Just wondering, though... I seem to have morphed mysteriously into "Laura" in your last couple of replies...tee hee. ;-) It's still just "Laurie" on its own, not a nickname for the other. No big deal, except as you'll recall, I was recently described with a drastically wrong appearance and manner on the hystery tour, and it was rather traumatic suddenly finding myself a brunette. Heh. I mean, I'm afraid all this will catapult me into some sort of dreadful identity crisis! Or something. ;-)
Ah, terribly sorry Laurie! Laurie, Laurie, Laurie - of course I know that and I love your name because it's beautiful and rather unusual over here. Stupid me and names, can hardly remember my own from time to time..
But you can also see it as something positive, because as we say over here - "dear child has many names"..
Hah hah. I caught that too Laurie, but you know, almost no one ever gets my name right. Of course there is the typical mistake - people who use the masculine Tony instead of Toni when writing my name, but for some reason, on first introduction, Toni often becomes Terry or Tina. Last week, someone even distorted it to Tootsie! Seriously, Tootsie . I'd take Laura any day - it's elegant and lovely (like you!)
Toni, You're the Best!
No need for an apology, B! Was just a bit curious about the morph. ;-) And thanks for the mail, but first I got a blurb that Yahoo Mobile couldn't read the file (the e-mail account I use on the board is obviously Yahoo, though not my main account nor provider), and to try it on my phone browser. After downloading, I tried to watch and listen, only to get a blurb saying "File format not supported"! Aaagh!! Don't know why... I've watched and listened to various files on this phone. Thanks for trying, B! Guess I need to get on the stick about computer stuff!!
I agree! Go, Toni!!! Yaaay!! We love you, Toots-- I mean, Toniiii!! :-)
Hah hah, indeed, T! :-) (Hmm, I need to switch to your "hah hah" from my "tee hee", I think... THEN maybe I'll be above reproach! Or will I?? Huh.) Tootsie, eh?? My dad used to call me "Toots" alot, among numerous other endearments in his Queens accent, with a wink and a twinkle in his eye. I'd give anything to see him and hear them again. I miss him so much! But-- Tootsie Franklin, tee-- hah! I love it!! Try using your given first name more often, maybe? ;-) Me, I get "Lori" alot. Midwesterners pronounce it the same as "Laurie", but of course, Easterners don't. And-- me, lovely and elegant? Why, thank you, my bonny Co-Queen! :-) But-- but-- I'm wearing my Nancy Drew T-shirt!! Or is it my Pippi Gone Punk outfit? Ask Reg. Er, on second thought... ;-)
Sorry to hear it doesn't work, Laurie. Don't have a cell phone myself (never needed one) and don't understand why it doesn't work in your phone. Seems like those "smart phones" aren't very clever after all..
Yeah, B, I guess my phone isn't as smart as I thought. However, in these days of constant upgrades and new technical models every five minutes, I'm sure there's a genius of a phone out there somewhere with my name on it. And I need to get going on computer stuff anyway! Thanks for trying! I'll catch your Meisterwerk soon one way or the other!! :-)
