Happy 236th Birthday, USA!! Hope everyone celebrating gets his or her fair share of fireworks tonight! ;-) Diehard Britophile that I verily be, proud of my extensive heritage from those "Sceptr'd Isles", and blah very blah, yadda yadda yodel, heh ha heh, I gotta say the colonists (including some of my own forebears, from branches of my family which took root over here much longer ago) were RIGHT ON about 1776!! So sorry, all you Redcoat regiments of yore! Yez got a reeeally bad military assignment on these fabled shores-- and how!! Well, it's all over now. Or is it? May the spirits of all who fought and died in those historic conflicts on both sides have gone on to greater and happier things on the ever-turning Wheel of Life. May Tyranny fail, and Liberty and Peace prevail!! Now... back to the fireworks! Bring on the Yankee Doodle Dandyin'!! :-)
