Typical! I spend a couple of weeks in hospital with no internet access, finally get back home and find I've missed the tour of a lifetime! I know I don't post very often, so I may heve been forgotten anyway but.......
Still, I'm loving the stories from the bus. You guys are having a great time by the sound of it.
If you happen to pass through London and see an old codger sticking his thumb out for a lift, that'll be me! And I happen to have a bottle of 20yr old single malt on me......
If not, I'll see you in Paris next year.
Ian, we have started a rescue mission - be prepared to be bus-napped by a bunch of disobedient senior hippies! The fact that you happen to have a bottle of 20yr old single malt on you has nothing to do with it - we do it solely for love and friendship with a fellow Alvinian..
Forgot - whatever the reason for your hospital stay was, I really, really hope you are feeling better now.

Re: Missed The Bus
A paramedic in hospital?
A classic example of good old British irony at work!
We need you guys out there saving us, not taking up a bed!
Seriously, hope the hospital is done with now, and you're on the mend Ian.

Yes, hope you're making a good recovery Ian. Which part of London?

Re: Missed The Bus
Thanks guys! I'm definitely on the mend. Had some serious (unexpected) surgery. The single malt helps, but I promise I'll save some for you Borje, and Alan, so don't fret! I'm actually in Surrey now, just south of London, but I'm prepared to travel to hitch a lift.
20 yo single malt. Sounds interesting, I'm not really into Pieter's Margarita's. Reg, please detour to pick up that buddy before he finishes that bottle
