Actually, the time has flown by, particularly since I never take preliminary announced release dates seriously. My extensive research, assisted by several interns and generous rations of refreshing beverages, shows these preliminary dates, while well-intentioned, are only accurate 2.7% of the time and never err on the "earlier than expected" side.

As stated in Wagstaff's Rule #14: "Some d@mned fool on the business end will always manage to screw things up and/or slow things down and everything will always take longer than it should."

Of course the rule applies after the Wagstaff's Alvin Corollary #3: "No music will be released before its time" - primarily because Alvin forbids himself - much to our enjoyment - from ever saying things like "I can live with that" or "I'll fix it in the mix".
