Yeah, Tony, bummer that Mark didn't let ANY of us know. Thing is, the Prairie Meadows gig is past and gone. We could always try second star to the right, straight on till morning, but what if, when we get there, Fark Narner & cohorts are about to walk the plank?? Or have gotten kidnapped by the Injuns? Oh, dear. :-)
Uh, Laurie..... Narc Farmer isn't in the band Grand Funk Railroad. They have a guy to play guitar who used to be in Kiss, Bruce Kulick, and a lead singer, and a keyboard player. Kinda ashamed to know that stuff. I feel so.......dirty!!!!!
What the *!@#*% ?? GFR without Narc Farmer?? What's this universe coming to?! And why have we all kept joking about them around here if Fark Marner (no relation to Silas, apparently) is no longer in the (American) band? My poor brain is spinning! Well, not really, but I'm kinda floored. The page 37 color pic of GFR, albeit only a couple of inches tall, in the local Sunday a&e mag, sure LOOKS like Narc. Just got it out and looked at it again, in fact, and it IS Fark. I'd think the mag used a stock shot of the wrong line-up by mistake, but the caption even SAYS it's them-- AT Prairie Meadows! 'Od's bodkins! 'Zounds for days, man! What treacherous trickery or funky flummery is here, good gentles all? Mayhap Kulick is out, and Farner's back in? And do we really care?? ;-)
You mean...GFR is now really (gasp) GFRNot?? To think I've lived to see the day! :-)
