Actually there's Dave, his brother Dave, and his other brother Dave FROM Mayberry . . .
When I was on the road, apparently my long lost twin brother was appearing at a lot of the same places I played. He was a guitarist - I played bass - and supposedly this poor guy had the misfortune of looking just like me. I was often accused of changing my name and switching instruments.
At any rate, I was hailed and vilified for some of his romances and misadventures, as I'm sure he was for mine .
