"Memories light the corners of my mind..." No, wait, that's not right....
"Thanks for the memories..." No, that's not it, either.
"Memory, all alone in the moonlight..." Yeah, there we go, that's the ticket!
LOL
Well, the first two are appropriate to this message, but of course it is the third one that brought so many of us together TWELVE YEARS ago to talk about our dear Mr. Gruber. More than twelve years, in some cases; almost 13 years.
In order to make sense from the chaos that is my life, long story, I'm sorting through sh... uh, I mean stuff. And I found a big old pile of memos and articles and emails from 1999 and 2000. From Andrea's forum and this one. Remember Andrea? We have her to thank for giving us a place to meet back in the day. Kim and I just took it on from there. And now it's mine. I'm very honored. Honored that so many look to this site for information about our dear Mr. Gruber. Honored that ladies who started as fans here have became very dear friends, even when we don't stay in regular contact with each other. Honored that our dear Mr. Gruber uses this site on his resume. I found a couple pages from the Gruber Dictionary. A few days ago I found some of Marlee's poems. I think I have some of Merri's (TJO's), too. I'm trying to organize the parts I want to keep. All the good stuff, none of the bad. (Yes, sadly there was some bad.) When I'm done and have made sense of things, anyone wants copies, let me know. Anyone want that dictionary, by the way? Not sure if I should keep it...
