Yes, that was the very first time we met...both were on stage...
For you see, there were a few rows of seats on both side of the stage and for the first show I had of 'CATS', I prefered to sit on stage-seat to experience the exiting of every cat.
Lucky for me, Michael's exit was right across from my seat.
But unlucky for me, I didn't see him after the show because he has to do the show again on the evening so he stayed in the theater to rest.
Lucky for me again...lol...I had ticket for the 8pm show also. This time I seated on the first row of the second section facing one of the two ramps. At the
begining of 'Naming of cats'(?), some of the cats was going down the ramp, stood for a few second before going back on stage and, Michael was one of them. He
was standing right in front of me at the end of the ramp, eyes casting down. My hands were on my lap. I wriggled two of my fingers at him (still on my lap), he sensed the movement and turned his head sharply, looking at my hand. Of course not to distracted him,
I kept still.
After the show, I wait and wait outside the stage door but no sight of him. What I didn't know was
there was another door on the other side and I heard
people talking.
There were a bunch of Japanese girls talking to a tall
man...Michael.
Single-mindedly (as I've said), I walked up to his back and called...
Wait, I left out something...before curtain-call that
evening, most of the cats crawled down the ramp and mingled with the audience. Michael crawled to me, curious as a cat, touch my shoe with his paw(hand). LOL Most unforgetable...
