Re: Z-Way Publications (MRZ)

- - - - - -

Our relationship with MRZ was informal, based on friendship.

We also know several other people who develop lottery software. There is not any business relationship.

If we feel that another developer describes their software honestly with no inflated claims about it, and if they treat their players with respect ... then there is a basis for friendship.

Re: Z-Way Publications (MRZ)

I too was a long time customer of Mr. Z a/k/a Bob Lyon and annually purchased the updates for the 3/4 games. After he passed away, I missed the program so much! I have found a way around the expiration block by installing it from the disc that you got when you bought it and re-entering you numbers for the past 18 weeks. It then will run for whatever the set period is (one year?) and will expire again, whereupon, you re-install the old startup disc, enter a fresh 18 week history, and so forth. Also, there is a web site called "Tinbu" that will take the numbers for whatever time period you enter and give you the same results. It is simply stats for 18 weeks based on 7 day increments, by position one, two three or four, if playing the play 4 gamse. And it works for any state. If you are playing Florida, please so indicate. I have some good stats to share. Good luck! Play on!

For players who were asking:

We have found a copy of Mr Z's software:

It's marked "MS-DOS". It's on a 3.5-inch floppy disk.

On the disk's label:

... Type GO to start program.

... Type WHEELER to run WHEEL program.

Re: Z-Way Publications (MRZ)

whoo hoooo! I won! yeah! I won! and, want to mention that in Florida's night game, 888 has not been drawn since 11/27/2003 and sooner or later, it must come up, no? and 477 in the night game -- 39 times from the beginning of the game in 1988 -- not up since 7/4/2011 -- good to track, follow -- maybe put some money down on.

Good luck! And, thanks again for the Mr. Z disc.

Re: Z-Way Publications (MRZ)

I lost my disk that I purchased from Bob Lyon. I actually went to his house and bought it from him when he lived in Rochester, NY. I have collected pretty much every lottery system that ever existed. I think Mr. Z's daily number system was one of the only systems that worked. He used to put the Shareware version on AOL. I think I still have it somewhere. The problem with the old systems is they are difficult to run since they were developed on DOS and Windows95.

Re: Z-Way Publications (MRZ)

I have and agree -- love the Mr. Z and faithfully subscribed for years and years. I still have and use it. Although it was supposed to be renewed after a certain time because the disc would stop working -- to get you to pay another annual fee -- after he died and that was not possible, I tried to get his daughter to keep it going but she was not interested. So, to get around that, what works is that you take the old disc and re-load it when it stops working and re-enter you current 18 weeks stats and you're good to go. You can also go to a web site Lotto Strategies.com - Lotto Analysis
Hit Frequency and pick any game and enter any dates from/to and it will instantly give you the 18 week statistics just like Mr. Z did. For instance, last week the 18 week period was 11/18/12 to 3/23/13. Any game, any time period -- you can get the results in seconds.

If you have any of your old Z discs, try the method above. PFVBse it with Windows and do not have any problems running it. Printing is something else though.

Play on! Good luck!
