For my final exam, i am doing a project where i have to build a car that will be powered by the gravitational potential energy of some object-a "falling object." The car has to have a "release mechanism" for the falling object to initiate the motion of the car. It has to travel 5 meters in a straight line and in the shortest amount of time as possible. Nothing external can guide the car and it can be any lenght but only a meter in height and .25 meter in width. Well, i am having trouble thinking of ideas. If you could guide me in a direction that would be fantastic!
