Prevent those devastating fires!
Isn't there some way of preventing the fires that sweep through the various townships every year at this time? These communities don't have electricity, so there are always going to be naked flames around for light and cooking. Also, the shacks are built out of cheap [low density] wood and cardboard - very flamable but bricks and mortar are out of the question for poor people. So what is the answer? |

Dear Ms. McCallum: Hi! I feel they should make their houses out of something non-flammable. Bricks, aluminum, things like we use in the states. What do you think they should use? I'd hate to see their villages or people being burnt by fires. What is your middle name? I love them dearly. I would love to help and visit someday through church mission trip or something, wouldn't you? Maybe a fundraiser or savings would do, right? =) Sincerely yours, Ms. Autumn Song Cha
