Message:   What about encouraging CHSA membership by decreasing fees at horse shows? There really is NO perk to being a CHSA member besides a possible year end award- but what if you're on a green horse? What if your horse is injured part way through the year? I constantly have friends/clients who ask me "why be a part of the CHSA?" I LOVE the organization- but what if to encourage membership dues went up slightly and a 'perk' could be no secretary/office fee, and members could just pay for their division/if they get a stall. I agree with everyone on this forum- the CP/MP shows are WAY expensive- so I choose not to support those shows, untill those fees come down. Gas is going up, so when all these extra fees are tacked on + an increase in division costs, I'm not inclined to go. . . come on managers. . .let's hear your input! Do any of you think CHSA members could have a perk of not having to pay the office fee? Or would this fee just be added to the division costs.
