Sunday

I'm without internet after moving house, so not sure what info has been sent out re Sunday.

What time start is it, how much does it cost?
Also, what is the route like, distance, and villages it heads through.

And finally, as Mandy is helping doing refreshments, what time will she be required?

See you Sunday
Richard

Re: Sunday

Hi Rob

Hope you are well.

Just to inform you that I'm no longer promoting the event as I have to work that day, but Tina and Mike are taking over organising the event. I've sorted out the route and insurance details only.

The HQ is at Hambledon Village Hall and the event starts at 10.00 am. The hall will be open from 9.00 am. I have no idea who is opening the hall and at what time. I would recommend that you ring Tina and Mike at the shop on 02392 654400 to find out more.

The course starts in Hambledon and goes through Denmead, Lovedean, Clanfield, Hambledon, Denmead, Hambledon, Chidden, Soberton, A32, Swanmore, Kilminston, West Meon, HMS Mercury, Clanfield, Denmead and back into Hambledon for the fourth time. The route will be signed on Saturday so hopefully the signs will be there on Sunday morning.

The event will cost £3.50 and I would recommend that Mandy arrives around 9.15 am

I think there will be some slight flooding on a couple of parts of the route as I have devised a route on some lanes. In January riders can't expect perfect road conditions and good weather so bring the usual inner tubes and pump with you.

Anyhow I hope that the event goes off well. Again if you speak to Tina and Mike I'm sure they can help you out with any further questions you may have.

Have a good ride.

The course details and route notes can be found on our web site under the 'Events' page.

Re: Sunday

Signed the course today and it's not too bad out there. A couple of bad sections with a fallen tree and new large pot holes.

Rich

PS Craig - We hope you are feeling alot better.
