Race Planning
Hello All. Richard suggested that we get together at some point to discuss races for this year. Would anyone like to suggest a venue where we can all get together.....??? As to a date, my calendar is always busy, but Sat 19th Jan or the 26th Jan would suit me nicely..... Going forward my plans for march and april are to ride the following Mountbatten 17th Feb (Provisional...) Surrey league 9th March 3rds 9.30 Surrey league 16th March 3rds 9.30 Pittards RR Yeovil 13th Apr Norman Halewood Memorial 20th April Anyway comments welcome please....see you on the 20th Jan, hopefully...... hi john. if i can make a preference to one of your dates it would have to be the 26th. i'm moving house on the 17th so it still will be chaos 0n the 19th. also i want to escape on the 20th so don't think the missus will weather my absence both days. pat |

another thought is to combine the velocity meeting on the 25th and kill two birds. its at qa park 6.30. I'm guessing its at the cycle track. pat |

Hi John We have three or four pubs in the Denmead area which could take in a few cyclist discussing races etc. I'll check some out and get back to you. How's the injury? Rich |

Hi richard, cool. Not bad. The pain was gone after 3 days, just felt a little sore. I bascially took 10 days complete rest over the christmas period, and as it was christmas, I sat down all day and rested it from walking as well. I have been on the turbo gently for a week now, and again this morning. No pain, but its not 100% in my mind, whether thats mind games or not I don't know. We will see...

Hi Pat, sorry, I did not see your reply in the list. Yes I saw that email, and it might be better to do it all at once, Good Idea... Arranged then, after the AGM we will have a race meeting. As it would be good for everyone to make it to the AGM. Cheers John |
