Hard Core Sunday Ride [:|]
So what ahppened to the rest of the club on sunday... Thanks to Pat, Jack and Nikki who turned up. It was wet and windy to say the least, but it did clear up a little. the plan, head west into the wind over the hills, then turn at winchester and come back via the flat with the wind behind. It all went well, until winchester, when we got the wind on our back it chucked it down!  I was wet and cold by the time I got home, but I we got 4 hours in.Anyway, for me thats it till after xmas for the club runs, so I will cu all on the 6th Jan, weather permitting, well I wil be there as long as its not raining when I leave home. |

Glad to hear that folk are enjoying the good weather and not relying on the turbo. Sorry I missed the ride. My absence was not due to the weather..... I had my parents down, whom I havent seen since August ( sort of healing a family rift type thing..) I am also on monster antibiotics and pain killers, as the molar tooth I had out on Monday is causing me a fair bit of hassle... the dentist had to cut the tooth and leave half in there!.... Didnt stop me doing a century with Pat on Thursday. Anyway will be riding Sunday.. hopefully the weather is good and we can do that run up to Faringdon and Liss forest..:-) |
