We allow the bigger jet at Barnesville to compensate for the header. It causes the engine to run lean and could damage the engine.Remember these engines were designed for 3600 RPM originally and used a restrictive stock muffler and with the governor removed it is turnning almost twice that.No other carb mods are allowed except the air filter housing. I posted our rules for Barnesville at the top of your forum if you care to look at them.Mike isn't the only one that is fast. We have 2 others just as quick and the rest of us are still work in progress.The beauty of these engines are low maintenence and so far no failures. |
