Gremlin Grill hits $1000 on Ebay

1973 non-x grill bid to $1000 - granted it had the headlight buckets and turn sig hous., - bidder none other than futura289...

polish up your parts - make,em look shiney and new, and you to can make a killing on ebay, so long as we have bidders like this.

That futura289 has some deep pockets. I would love to see his fleet.

Ya I know Joe. He buys up all the good gremlin stuff.
I get a kick outta these auctions I guess I need to up my price on restored ones. I was only getting 600 for one that looks like new. Time to put a few more restored ones up

Time to jank that gremlin grille and put in a hornet. $1000.00 will pay for 2 1/2 months of my drag racing addiction.

Re: Gremlin Grill hits $1000 on Ebay

Eeek! This is frightening! I just reinstalled my grill last night, replacing all bulbs and lights. I discovered there are a few broken pieces on my grill, including the mounting spots on the passenger side of the side marker light. I thought I would just get a better one in the future.

At a grand, I don't think so!

By the way, Davis, I discovered I had already located and purchased two very good rear side marker lenses. They were inside the car! It helps to LOOK!

That's the problem with a project taking over two years - you forget what you have!!

I guess someday we'll all be able to tell the young folks, "I remember when gas was just 3 dollars a gallon and you could buy a grill for a Gremlin for only 1,000 bucks!"

I paid 40 bucks for my first gremlin and drove it home. That was a few years ago though
