72 rear valance
I'm looking for a rear valance for a 72 Gremlin I am in the process of restoring. Old one had about an inch of mud in it. I posted on the AMC forum but got no replies, so someone pointed me here. Thanks in advance for any help. |

Are you talking about the valance over the rear bumper? If so, those are hard to come by. I have only seen one for sale in the past two years, and I got beat for it on ebay!

Pretty hard to find but not that hard to make. If you have the ends in good shape, look at a Hornet, Concord so on and cut what you need to make it work. woody |

Thanks for the replies, guys. Woody, do you know what years Hornet/Concord can be made to fit? The car is actually in a shop 400 miles away from me, so that complicates things a bit. |

I thought the rear valance is the metal BELOW the back bumper that ties the bottom 1/4's togetherleft to right.? Or are you talking about the metal the tailights are housed in.?

Yes, I was referring to exactly that piece---below the rear bumper and tying the rear quarters together. |
