Continental Kit?
okay i know this is a strange one.... I have a friend who's a car guy and knows I'm restoring a gremlin. Stops by my office today and tells me he has found me one near me. He says it's in the city, sitting on the street... has 4 flat tires but looks pretty decent. He starts describing it and says it has a spare tire on the back.... I said I'd never seen anything or heard of anything like that... I even clarified and asked you mean like a continental kit??? and he said yes! He swears it looks factory. Was wondering if anybody else has heard or seen anything like this before! I'll be swinging by soon to inquire about it. |

Isn't this the car(s) that the airlines (Continental Airlines) used??? I think that is what this is. The seats have the logo of the airlines on it. I think if you search the net you will find an image of this car. Pretty cool but not a continental kit, like with spare tire. My first car was used by United at OHare in Chicago. It had a big United logo on it when I got it. Nothing as fancy as the Continental Logo design. woody |

I believe that Eddie Stakes used to own one of the Continental cars and has photos of it on his site. |
