Looking for dash and tachometer for 74 Gremlin X
Anyone have any ideas of any earlier/late model gremlins that dash will fit same or if a tachometer from different AMC models will fit a gremlin? Appreciate any help. SJ |

I have a stock tach for a 74 6cyl. But will only trade for a V8 tach. If you just want any tach.. SUN makes a tach that fits right in the hole. Just get yourself a Hornet 3 gauge dash cluster and put the tach on the hole on the right. woody |

If you want a dash that can hold a tack, and look factory, then get one of the Hornet guage inserts. The Hornet had three guage pods. The third, on the right, was used for a clock or tach. Many times it was empty. You can use the guages with the Hornet insert, and then get a tack from Jegs or Summitt and install it in the third hole. The signal light markers are different in the two dashes which is why I said to use the Hornet guages. I have seen Gremlins with this dash, some on the "Gremlin Rides" in this site. I don't know if they were stock or were replaced. Perhaps some here can answer that question. Good luck! |

SJ, if you feel frisky get a whole dahout of a Concord V8 or V8 Spirit" I pulled the dash out of a 80 Spirit/Gremlin and it had all wood type grain and was really good looking but my buddy already has dibs on it.If you want to keep it stock looking than you need to go to the Hornet three cluster.
