Daytona AMC Show and More
Took my Gremlin to the Daytona Car Show there was about 100 AMC cars there about 7 or 8 Gremlins. Than thing went bad, my wifes pocket book got stolen with credit cards, check books, cell phone $500.00 cash just everything. On the way home I had a trailer tire go flat and couldn't get anyone to fix it. Now the good part it was a great show! I did get home after 7-1/2 hours to go 193 miles. I was home 15 mintues when I got a phone call from the Palm Beach Post Times the bigest news paper in town. They found my name on the Gremlin X.com web site and want to do a story on Gremlins. They came over to my house tonight to interview me and Wednesday afternoon do a photo shoot of my Gremlin. It turns out the Gremlin was interduced on April Fools Day in 1970 and it's their 38th anniversary. The article and pictures are going to be in Sunday's paper in their Accent Section. I'd also like to see that article. Tomorrow is "Gremlin Day" for sure. Weather permitting I might just take a cruise in my Gremlin to commemorate the date. |

That just SUCKS! and that's just AWSOME!  It will be 64 degrees here tomorrow, actually it is 61 right now. But it will be raining out all day. I hope to take her for a spin on friday. Davis |

Navy, My Gremlin was the Candy Apple Red 1974 304 v8 with the aluminum AMC valve covers. It was in the first spot as you walked into the AMC area, it has a an SC/Rambler hood scoop on the hood. Terry Grow West Palm Beach, Fl |

Terry,Those two ladies visted you too I heard.They took pics of Todds 74 and mine,its weird man theres gonna be 3 74 Gremlins in the 'PBP' and all three were factory 304 cars too.They told me they expected some stokc 6 banger grems and never expected 3 rip snort murder machines.  ANother things thats funny is Terry yours is a mild 304,mines a built 360 and Todds is a unholy balls out 401.

Jealous are we Davey boy?Hey my Grems not much to look at and I almost never have anything cool happen to me.But having a story and a pic of my car in the paper especially when its something positive about and AMC let alone an AMC Gremlin is pretty cool to me.

Hay Bart Man, It is good press for AMC and Gremlin I'm proud to have mine in too, I hope they give us front page of the ACCENT but I'll take any good press.
