Need cheap 15" Rally wheels?

If you want AMC Gremlin Rally wheels in 15" `here is a simple fix:

Look for a 1980s Jeep Comanche or Cherokee with 15" Rally wheels (they are silver with black plastic JEEP log centers. They may have come on Wranglers as well. Not sure. I got a set of 5 for $30. The seem to be pretty common. My set came from a 87 Comanche.

The center are the same design as the "Valcano" centers from the 1970s AMCs. The centers fit perfect! Use the 15" trim rings from the Jeep.

The wheel look is a little different (hole design) but for the price few people will know.

Hard to find factory AMC 15" Rally wheels for anything close to that price.

Re: Need cheap 15" Rally wheels?

Woody: they are the same bolt pattern. I thought the center hole was smaller than the V8 cars. It's been my experience that the backset is too deep 4x4) thus setting the tire closer to the rear leaf springs, if you run a bigger tire than stock, could rub, plus the same on the front or worse... then you have the narrowing of the tracking geomety. I never did a fit -install, just did the measuring on another AMC car to find the same results.
Some one might try and report back,, I have 2 sets of those Jeep wheels too!..
