ontario amc guys
hi guys joe here i have 74 gremlin owned 4 a year now just wondering how many of u people would be from ontario area would like to know so i could source parts and in fo kk thankd and nice site u got here |

Hello, Joe I live near Cornwall, Ontario. I have a pair of 72 Javelins, 74 Gremlin X and a Ambassador. There is a guy near here that is planning on crushing lots and lots of cars. The last time I was there I counted 2 Gremlins, 3 Pacers, and a Matador X with factory A/C. Let me know if I can get anything for you. Have you heard anything about a AMC show in Brockville(Ont.) this summer? |

Ken here! Just south of Orangeville Ont. 1970 body (rust free southern car) being cloned into a Wild Plum Metallic '72 Gremlin-X. 401, 4-speed. Paint is done, engine and tranny are in. Should have it on the road in 2008.

I've got no spare wheels, but I have some volcano caps and trim rings? Also a 343 for the price of a 24. I have mostly tons of spare interior parts.

Sure Dale. It's still got pistons, crank, rods installed, and the heads are removed. Previous AMX owner reported it ran well but "smoked a bit". It's yours for a 2-4.

Guys did you see that 74 Javelin red/white/blue for sale in the auto trader this week. (Jan 11/08) It sounded pretty good but it was sold before I could get there. $2300. in Brantford. |

Got a 78 gremlinX last summer. Don't know much about cars but I just know I like it! gotta throw some money at it though. rear spring coupling thingies are rusted through, along with a lot of other problems. Do you guys all work on your own cars or do you send it to a shop? |

I have six ralley rims all with volcanoes and rings I believe. All in useable condition, little to no rust, not repainted, just stacked in the corner. Thought about keeping all of them but just invested 1500 in custom wheels and tires so if someone is looking I would interested in parting with at least four if not all, would even leave the tires mounted if you wish. two tires are two years old with maybe 200 miles on them and the other are good tires but came with it when I bought it. Only problem is I don't know what they are worth, help with that would be nice. speak up here if interested and I can out my email. |

Bernard, what would you like to learn I learned all about gremlins as I went along. I have been wrenching on gremlins since I got my first one in 87. I am on my 25th gremlin now. This one's a keeper though Dave, A 6 weel gremlin would be cool! I have seen those weels in good shape bring 50 bucks to 400 for a set. I would try to get 200 for em. The hardest part of selling this stuff is finding a buyer.Davis |

I don't even know anything about cars actually... I just know how to keep it clean. Motorcycles on the other hand, I know those inside and out. Right now, all I know is I have a '78 258ci gremlin with rusted out rear spring mounts, a loud exhaust, and a really clean levi's interior :P. It's my daily driver too. Wanna fix it for me? :D |

Hey guys, I've finally done it! I wore the boss down and she is finally allowing me to buy a Gremlin! There was one in Brantford on Kijiji but when I called, the guy said it had sold already. I am kinda bummed, the ad is STILL up, but anyways, I was wondering if anyone here comes across a Gremlin for sale within a reasonable distance (I live in Kitchener) could you keep me in mind and send me an Email to dangerboy81@hotmail.com ? I'm only looking to spend $3500 maybe a bit more, so I'm not expecting a V8 in primo shape, but I'd like something that I can drive this summer with little to no mechanical work. Not pickey about the engine, the only thing I am avoiding is 77-78 model years. Any help would be appreciated. Leon Richard |
