The one comment I would like to make is, how the schools have changed over the years. I am a school resource deputy with the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office in Ft. Pierce, FL. and me job is to patrol the schools. I have two elementary schools that I am assigned to. I sometime will work at the High School and I can't believe the garbage that goes on. The other day at the high school during lunch, this boy and girl were going at it like they were doing an x-rated movie. I got embarassed and told them to cut it out. I had a nine year old kid tell me that he wanted to kill himself because he doesn't like the school. Fights at schools are a regular thing at the high schools as well as gangs. It is nothing like it was back in the 70's. Well that's about it for now. Bill Cooke.....Class of 74 |
