Foggy Day Enters Internet Charts
Foggy Day has entered the Internet Jazz Charts at www.soundclick.com website users can click on any of the Soundclick logos embedded within the website to play the mp3 track and vote on the track. Chart position is decided on the number of unique audio streams and votes received so every play and every vote counts. The track can also be downloaded free of charge as an mp3. Thanks in advance for listening to the track and your votes, heres hoping we can get Steve to No.1 |

A new track has been added, Aint That A Kick in The Head, this is different version to the one found on the album. This can be voted for the sameway as Foggy Day just follow the link below and play the audio, vote hot and download the mp3 and propel this track up the charts. Foggy Day has made steady progress up the charts. Having originally charted at 505 in the Jazz Chart it has risen to No.87 on Friday and to No.55 today, a superb acheivement given there are over 11,000 Jazz tracks listed of which just over 1,800 receive enough plays and votes to chart. In the Swing Chart Foggy Day entered the chart at 33 and risen to No.5 on Friday and No.3 today, making Steve the top listed British Artist on this Global Downlaod Chart. |

Latest update on Foggy Day, Currently Steve is now placed No.37 in the Jazz mainstream chart so still climbing. And in the in Jazz Swing charts, Foggy Day is up from 3 to No.2 so only 1 more place to go. Sounclick.com was the 1st Internet Chart established in 1997, and in the Jazz mainstream chart there are 11,280 qualifying tracks of which about 1,800 receive enough plays, votes and downloads to make the official daily charts so Foggy Days 37th place is hugely resepectful. In the Jazz Swing chart there 436 qualifying tracks of which about 130 receive enough plays, votes and downloads to make the charts so No.2 is a massive achievement. Foggy Day continues to move up in the soundclick.com First Internet Charts with move of 6 places overnight from 37 to 31 in the Jazz mainstream chart. Foggy Day also maintained its place in the number 2 spot in the Jazz Swing Chart. The charts is made up of the most played, voted for and downloaded mp3's from over 11,000 entries of which only approx 1,800 ever make the main chart, so making 31 is a huge acheivement. To ensure Foggy Day climbs even further you can go to www.soundclick.com/stevegetz and click on music and play Foggy Day, vote Hot and download the mp3, all three of these actions have a bearing on the chart postion. Aint That A Kick In The Head has been re-catogrised as a Jazz Cover so this should now be able to chart so dont forget to do the same for this track as well. Thanks for voting |

Foggy Day slipped one place in the Jazz mainstream chart today dropping to number 32 which is a highly respectable position considering the other 1,800 entrie on the chart. Foggy Day maintained its strangle hold on the number 2 spot of the swing chart for the third day running. Aint that a kick in the head was released on the Jazz Covers charts yesterday and wasnt expected to chart until later in the week, unexpectedly it entered the chart at number 3. Remember the chart is daily chart that is made up of the number of audio plays from the site, downloads and hot votes each track gets, so please visit www.soundclick.com/stevegetz and listen to both tracks, vote hot and download them both each day and make Steve number 1. Foggy Day has now been Number 1 in the Jazz Swing Chart for the last two days and the number of audio plays is increasing daily. The 21st saw Foggy Day climb to 13 in the Jazz main steam chart before falling to 17 early today even though yesterday saw the highest number of audio plays so far. Aint that a kick in the head as now claimed the number two spot in the Jazz covers chart and is receiving a consistant number of plays and downloads each day. The charts are released daily and positions are calculated by combining the number of unique audio plays, downloads and hot votes each track gets, so dont forget to go to www.soundclick.com/stevegetz and make sure you listen, download and vote hot for Foggy Day and Aint That A Kick In The Head. New tracks to be added soon and plans are in progress for the Steves album "To Be Frank" to be made available for purchase as an online download. Thanks for voting. |

Foggy Day continues to maintain a strong presence in the soundclick charts despite the many technical failings of the soundclick servers at peak times. Following the ups and downs of the weekend 24th/25th September 2005 where Foggy dropped from 13 in the main Jazz Chart to 48 and dropped to number 3 in the Swing chart, but throughout the week Foggy Day has re-established itself peaking at number 5 in the main Jazz Chart and regaining the number 1 spot on the Swing Chart. Aint That A Kick In The Head remains unwavering in its almost vice like grip on the number 2 spot in the Jazz Covers chart and shows no signs of moving. Wednesday saw the higest number of plays and downloads so far for both tracks in total and as Thursdays are traditionally the busiest days on Soundclick for Steve, coupled with the local press coverage received today there is some expectation that the soundclick artist page and the steve getz website will see an increase in traffic. Steve will be shortly launching a new track on soundclick for free download so please check out www.soundclick.com/stevegetz on a regular basis for details. |
