Missing bridge??

Hello.

A question for well earned of thee Bristolians. I seem to remember reading/seeing an artists impression of a bridge at the top of Park Street, and reading that it was some kind of asylum, possibly for the blind??

The bridge depicted was actually an enclosed walkway from one side of the road to other (possibly to where the Uni building now is.

Does this ring any bells with anyone? I can't seem to find any reference of it on tinternet.

Scott
